Late ValentineThe day of lovers,Late Valentine by Lex2cute13
In remembrance of our dear st. valentine,
Is where thy story takes place,
None to simple, yet none to complicated,
It started on a dreamy winter day.
The sun a shine,
He looked divine,
As if the beauty of the day was created by his beauty alone,
But no, the beauty of the day was created by my dearly beloved saviour,
And no other could recreate it,
This is the same for the beauty in front of my eyes.
I sit await on this monotonous day,
And then he caught my eye,
His eyes unlocked my soul,
And he took me prisoner with but a short gaze,
With that I was awoken,
No longer did the day seem mundane,
Everything seemed to glow in that dreamy kind of way,
Have I found love?
No I must not rush things,
For love takes time,
It is patient and kind,
At least that's what I have read from the great book of wisdom,
So although we have just met,
And only met with a gaze of the eye,
I must not get ahead of myself,
For now at least let me gaze at you in secret,
Why is Hell Necessary?1. Sin and CrimeWhy is Hell Necessary? by Allendra3
Sin is like crime. When you commit a crime, you are breaking the law. When you commit sin, you are breaking God’s Law. If a Judge let a criminal go without punishment, we would call him unjust. Thus, if God allowed sin to go unpunished, that would make God unjust.
2. How Severe is Sin?
One of the major problems I encounter when telling people about sin and hell is that they simply don’t grasp how severe sin is. While the comparison above is a good illustration, it doesn’t do justice in communicating how bad sin is. Sin is an act of evil that is against the very nature of God. God is so pure and holy that He cannot commit sin, it’s against His very nature to do so.
It’s so important you understand this. If you find yourself going back to the idea that “sin isn’t so bad” then you still don’t get it. SIN IS EVIL. Sin is of Satan. Sin is against God. Sin is severe.
3. Do you like Heaven?
Have you never heard?Isaiah 40:25-31Have you never heard? by spanishbomb0
New Living Translation (NLT)
25 “To whom will you compare me?
Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One.
26 Look up into the heavens.
Who created all the stars?
He brings them out like an army, one after another,
calling each by its name.
Because of his great power and incomparable strength,
not a single one is missing.
27 O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles?
O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights?
28 Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
29 He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
30 Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
|Well just recently i realized I have a love for all things European. I am really interested in a country in particular France. I am really interested in this country because I'm creole and so my ascestors were french in fact my great grandfather's name was panfeur ben wa mathew no i know i spelled it wrong so don't judge me i can't speak or write french. So anyway him and my great grandma spoke french so almost everyone in my family knows some of the basics. Going back to me now. I realized i love everything about the french. For example pasties, architecture, rococo fashion, and so MUCH MORE. This is the reason i would like to create rococo inspired wedding dresses and dresses and to be able to create french architecture. For this reason i would really like to study abroad so i am gonna try my best to follow my dreams . WHO says you can't have two careers!!! so wish me luck!!!!
